The inaugral 2009 Chattanooga Bass Bug Classic proved to be quite successful with attending bass anglers from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.  Despite unusually hot temperatures, these anglers experienced good fishing as most bass were in post-spawn and aggresively grabbing top and sub-surface flies.  The event was a well-organized event from its kickoff dinner to the awards ceremony. The 2nd Annual Chattanooga Bass Bug Classic was a success again this year. Anglers saw warm temperatures, lower water, and the annual willow-fly hatch on the Nick-a-Jack section of the river. Fishing was excellent, and the bass, which were in post-spawn, were agressivley taking topwater and sub-surface bass flies. Fishing was even great in the heat of the afternoon. Anlgers from Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina fished in the event this year. Anglers enjoyed a pre- tournament dinner at Hennen's Steakhouse, a cocktail party on the second night, and great fishing for this two day event. Check out the awards and prizes below for this year's tournament.

The 3rd Annual Chattanooga Bass Bug Classic was a success again this year. Anglers saw warm temperatures, and after a couple of weeks of 95+ degree weather, the water was very warm. Fishing was excellent, and the bass, which were in post-spawn, were agressivley taking topwater and sub-surface bass flies. The willow fly hatch was not as prevelant this year as years passed, but this did not affect the fishing.  Anlgers from multiples states fished in the event this year.Check out the awards and prizes below for this year's tournament.
